Keepsake Schoolwork

Here are a few items that Danny has worked on at school. I will keep a few for keepsakes but I'm not sure how long they will preserve, so I thought that I would take photos and blog it so that I have the memories always.

These are just a few of the tons of work he has brought home. He's getting really good at coloring, writing his name and cutting with scissors. It amazes me how much the kids learn in Pre-K, much less kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, etc. Everyday he comes home singing a new song and telling me what he learned that day. I'm really proud of him but I'm also a little sad thinking about how quickly he is growing up.

The other day, I told him that he would have to start saving his money so that he can go to college and be a doctor (or lawyer or Wal-mart greeter or Santa Claus; it changes on a daily basis). I told him that I would be so sad when he left. He looked at me and said "Mom, I won't leave you, you can come with me to college!" I laughed and told him that when he grows up, he won't want me to go with him to college or anywhere else for that matter and he shook his head and said "No, I want you to be with me". My heart melted.
