Tedd and Dougiey - Two additions to the family and One Wii

Here are our two new additions to the family, Tedd (the Panda) and Dougiey (the Doggy). We were invited to a birthday party at Build A Bear Workshop and the kids loved it! They sat in a circle and got to choose two little hearts. The lady had them rub and shake and kiss the hearts and make a wish. Then one heart went into their bear of choice and the other heart went into the birthday boy's bear.

After they helped stuff their bear, they had to give the bear a hug to see if it "felt right" and then they went over to the bathing station where they bathed their animal in air and brushed off extra fuzz. Then, came the fun part of choosing clothes. Luckily for me, my friend Amy was helping my boys to choose "something affordable for mommy" but also something that the boys would like. They liked the dinosaur shirts, and I liked the price, $2.

Next, we went and made a birth certificate for their animals and my boys "officially became parents" of the little animals. Afterwards, they got a little home box to put the bear in with a lot of birthday stuff inside. We also got to sign a birthday bear given to the birthday boy, little Jackson. It was a great party idea.

Danny loved his so much that he carried it everywhere for the first two hours we were home. Evenwhen we needed to leave later, he refused to get in the car without it. Now on to the Wii.

Today, Kamal and I were looking for a mini hard drive for me to take to work to upload my files. I have about 4.7 gb that I have to download every Friday. We checked out Office Depot, Office Max and thought we would also run by Best Buy to compare prices. When we got inside Best Buy, we see all the good deals (about $50 less than Office Max and Office Depot) and decide to get a really nice hard drive. But while we are at it, Danny is playing video games like crazy and won't budge. So Kamal starts talking to the gaming tech and was some how convinced to by our family a Wii. Yay!!! So now Danny, Austin and Kamal are in the back room playing with it and enjoying themselves immensely.
