Arabic Learning Fun

I love the internet! I probably would not have made it as a pioneer girl in the 1800's, even though I like to think that I could. I love my technology way too much.

My husband found an Arabic website that has a lot of games and fun things for kids. He had Danny playing it and Danny had so much fun. One of the games is a birthday cake decorating game and Danny really got into it, as did I. Here is what the game looks like:

Lachelle's birthday cake

I did a birthday cake for myself. It has so many tools that it boggles the mind! Hearts, flowers, sprinkles, candles, happy faces, sports, etc. It is amazing!

I'm really glad that Danny and Austin are learning both English and Arabic. Hopefully in the next few years, we can go to Bethlehem and visit Kamal's family there. The kids would pick up the language in no time at all. The last time we went, we stayed for five weeks and at the end, I could follow most conversations and even order my own food at Tombula, which is basically an Arabic Bingo and helped me so much with Arabic numbers.

For all my Arabic speaking friends, Inshallah, Danny wa Austin yehko Araby.

For all my English speaking friends, God willing, Danny and Austin will speak Arabic.
