So imagine my surprise when I open the dryer expecting to see nice clean clothes and I notice red marks all over almost every article of clothing! I investigated a little more closely and found that there was a red crayon in there with the clothes. I don't know how it got there as I always check the pockets of all pants and shirts before I even put them in the washer, however, I have a pretty good idea. Maybe even TWO! I interrogated the two boys of mine and both said that they didn't do it. Should I believe them?
Oh well. No harm done. Some of the clothes I sprayed Spray N Wash on them, rewashed them, and the marks came right out. The others, I just folded and put away. If anybody at Danny's school ever questions me on the marks I'll just say, "Oh yeah! It's the new thing. Kind of like tye-dye!"
Speaking of red crayons, I ran into this site: http://www.redcrayon.net/index.html. It is a neat designing company based out of Glendale, AZ. Being a graphic designer, I am constantly combing through magazines, websites, brochures, etc. to see what is in style right now and what medium (or software program) was used. Also, a fun thing is attempting to duplicate things. It is good practice. There was a quote on the first page of this site that I just fell in love with because it is totally and utterly true.
Vision without action is merely a dream.
Action without vision just passes the time.
Vision with action can change the world!

I have been working on a website for an older gentleman and his wife this past month and we are almost done. I have to add Google ads once the website is approved through Google AdSense but so far, it looks pretty good and the most important thing is that the client is completely satisfied and thrilled with the way it turned out. The website is called Northeast Fun Trips and is based on non-typical ways of travel in the northeast. Here is the link if you'd like to visit: http://www.northeastfuntrips.com/. Now, I have to create myself a website as I advertised at the bottom of his site. I have a portfolio site but don't really want the public seeing that (due to personal information and my resume being on there) so I have purchased the domain name LachelleSaieh.com and will soon be coming up with a website to upload. How fun! I can't wait! Here are a few more websites I've designed:
http://austinprovideo.com/ - this website is in need of a few minor changes and constant maintenance.
http://mybethlehemcrafts.com/ - this website needs some maintenance as well.
When I create my new website, I am going to try to incorporate Flash into it. I'm not great in Flash yet, so it will be a challenge. But challenging myself is half the fun! Here is a new website for my friend (and fellow blogger at *Om~Mami* ) that I just love! I'd enjoy trying to do something similar for my site. Her site is: http://www.terraluzpp.com/. Isn't it gorgeous! They did a great job on it.
