This was the kids' chance to visit their school before the first day of school on Monday, August 24th. When we met Danny's teacher, we were so happy. Mrs. Francis was wonderful with him last year when Mrs. Gage couldn't bring the kids out for parent pickup and she always made Danny feel like a big kid (even though he was only in Pre-K). At the open house, he found his locker, cubby and desk and then helped me put his school supplies in the appropriate areas. He was so excited.
With Austin, we found his room, which was only two doors down from Danny's room, however, his teacher wasn't there due to being on vacation and just getting hired the day before. Austin got familiar with the room and met a few friends that would be starting with him on Monday. He was super excited.
