Breakfast of Champions and Our New Swimming Pool Slide

For breakfast this morning, we had cupcakes with cream cheese frosting that I had prepared the night before. The kids always love decorating them so I gave them a little cup full of frosting, a little spatula each and the decorations. The kids went to town and enjoyed their breakfast so much! They frosted two cupcakes each (one at a time of course) and decorated them to their pleasure. It was a great morning.

This afternoon, Kamal had a doctor's appointment so the boys and I dropped him off at the doctors' office and went to the bank. On our way, we stopped by KFC for some chicken snackers and then Sonic for Danny's reward, an M&M Sonic Blast, and Austin and I got a chocolate milk shake each. Danny gets a small reward every day for getting a green card in class, signifying that he behaved well all day. So far, this reward system has worked. Since Wednesday last week, he has gotten all green cards every single day and even got a treasure from the treasure chest on Friday, which means he got 5 consecutive green cards.

After we picked up Kamal, we went to Old Navy, for me and then Toys R Us for the kids. We ended up getting several Wii games that were on clearance and buying a small size pool for the kids to play in. When we got home, we put it under the slide and hooked up the water to run down the slide into the pool. The boys had a blast! They played for at least two hours, climbing up and sliding down. I even got in on the action and sat in the pool for a while. It was really nice. Can't wait until tomorrow!
