My Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's day. The day started with Danny and Austin making me two different kinds of pancakes - mixed berry and apple cinnamon - just so they wouldn't fight over who got to stir the mix. They were very yummy and the boys did a great job.

After breakfast, Danny gave me a book he made in class for his mommy and several mother's day index cards with his drawings. He even gave one to Austin to give to me so that Austin wouldn't be left out. Awwww, how sweet! They are so caring of one another and it makes this momma so proud.

We just hung out around the house today. Rajaa was off and came and joined us. It was a nice, relaxing day. However, we do plan to get our fun on this week at Main Events and the sprinkler park.

I made teriyaki chicken with fried rice and vegetables as my Mother's day dinner. It turned out so well and I guess that's why it is one of my favorites. It is pretty simple to do and tastes so good. After dinner, we had coconut cream pie, which is another easy recipe and tastes so good.
