This morning, I was trying to decide what to make Austin for a late breakfast. Looking through the fridge, I came across some Pillsbury butter biscuits and the left over supplies for the pizza I made on Sunday. Viola! Pizza biscuits!
They turned out so good. Austin and I ate our fair share. He even helped me to make a few of them and had a blast.
If you ever need a quick, easy and delicious recipe for your kids, this is a great one. Here is how I did them:
PIZZA BISCUITS
Ingredients:
- Pillsbury Biscuits - I used the Pillsbury Golden Layers Butter Tastin'
- Tomato sauce, pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce. Your choice.
- Pepperonis
- Parmesan cheese
- Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese
- Other toppings if desired: olives, mushrooms, red or green pepper, onions, etc.
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400° and on a cookie sheet, lay out all the biscuits in the container - usually about 10. Once they are all laid out, use the palm of your hand to push them as flat as possible.
- Using a spoon, spread about a spoonful of the tomato sauce all over the flat biscuits. Then, begin adding all your toppings.
- Put in the oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes.
Happy pizza biscuit baking!!!
