Happy 4th of July!

Danny and I went bicycle riding first thing this morning. It was really fun. Danny insisted that he needed something for the ride, so we packed two green apples and some water. We rode the back trail from our house to the park on Lynnwood. When we got there, we sat on the picnic bench together, ate our apples and drank some water. Then, we got busy playing. Once we had played enough, we rode back home.

After we got home, I did some cleaning and started lunch. Then, Austin, Kamal and I tried to scare Danny by setting up and using the remote control spider that Austin got for his birthday (thanks Lisa, Laith, Noora and Farris). But it didn't work. Danny came racing over and wanted to operate it. The kids love that spider so much that they started fighting over who got to operate it and broke a leg. Granted, it had eight, but still. I super glued it back on and now he drags it. Poor spider.

When I entered my measurements into fitday.com today, I was pleasantly surprised. Most my measurements have went WAY down. I only enter them once a month, so since last month, I am doing really well. I am continuing to lose half a pound every day (since Tuesday this week) and feeling better and better. Three cheers for Lisa and I. Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!

Now we are getting ready to go watch the fireworks. Raed is joining us and the kids can't wait. Happy 4th of July everyone! Let freedom ring!
