Sunset
We went for a walk the other day to let Danny and Austin take turns riding the bike. Their favorite stop along the way is the park. So while we were reaching the park, it was approaching twilight and just beautiful. Luckily, we had the camera with us and got pictures. A few of these pictures were taken by Danny. He LOVES taking pictures and is quite good. I can't wait to see what pictures this budding photographer will take next.

Cowboy Day at School
The kindergarten class had Western Week where they decorated little cowboy figures at home and made horses for their figures in class. On Friday, they got to dress up like cowboys or cowgirls. Danny's little cowboy figure was chosen for the display case out front and we went in early to take some pictures with it. Of course, Austin wanted to dress up too so I have pictures of both my little cowboys in front of the display case.
Cowboys Danny and his friend Christopher outside of their classes.

How many is TOO many?
So, being that I started this new purging thing where I'm getting rid of things that aren't really needed, I decided to pull out the "few" magazines that I had in order to go through them. What I discovered shocked me! I have issues dated back to 2006! I ended up putting them in order from oldest to newest so that I could still go through them, quickly, and I had skyscrapers! So here are the pictures of my (soon to be gone) magazines. (The biggest towers are Self, Glamour and Vogue and my new subscriptions are to Cosmpolitian and Fitness, only 5 issues each so far).

Nefertiti by Michelle Moran
Nefertiti by Michelle Moran
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed reading this book and if there was only one thing I took away from this book, it would be that when wisdom presents itself to you, don't be too stubborn to listen. A lot of things could have been avoided if the Pharoah hadn't been so stubborn.
The writing was well done and I could easily envision the story unfolding. To give a more human dimension to history was a great idea and Michelle Moran's story had me captivated. Although it was 460 pages, it was a quick read.
