Our neighborhood group had a carnival for the little ones and it was AWESOME! All the mothers chipped in and did their part to make it an amazing carnival for the kids. There were so many fun booths that the kids could go to and after they finished each booth, they got a different colored ribbon tied to their wrist showing that they had went to that booth.
I was in charge of the music (for the Monster Mash), napkins, cookies for the decorating booth along with icing and decorations and my main booth was the picture taking booth. I took the pictures of all the kids with our very gorgeous backdrop of haybales, scarecrow and pumpkins. Then, after every picture was taken, I ran back home and printed them so that we could make a Picture Magnet to put on the fridge. Here is how Danny and Austin's magnets turned out:
Each mom was in charge of a booth and handing out candy when it was time for trick or treating. There was pizza, drinks, games and fun for all. It was such a great day.
Here is a list of the different booths we had:
- Prize bag decorating
- Pumpkin painting
- Mummy wrap
- Costume contests
- Coloring station
- Monster Mash
- Potato sack races
- Cupcake and cookie decorating
- Picture station
